Have not seen a new beta driver in a while from NVIDIA. Maybe they're cooking up something big? glNext Preview + Wayland support?

Do we know when AMD's yet to be released delayed driver, features and improvements such as native overclocking and frame rate limiter (running fullscreen applications at reduced frame rates) are coming for Linux users?

I know we already have an option to enable "anti-screen tearing/ v-sync always on" but it's not sufficient and will kill your framerates, add stutter and mouse lag in all games, even with raw data enabled.

I'm referring to the "leaked" driver from Windows Update in Windows 10 Technical Preview: http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=397114

I'm skeptical about Mir, especially after the devs announced that Mir will have hooks into Wayland to piggyback on top of it.

im predicting Mir will not survive, there aint enough Developers working on it compared to Wayland
