    One a month, and a very bad one let me tell you, which slightly improves over the previous, but leaving you with the sense that by 2028 there will be a good amd driver release.

    Well that driver seems to have got problems with some G86 based cards where 180.37.05 works fine.

    NVIDIA hasn't released as many Linux driver updates in May as they have in past months
    They have released 185.18.08, 185.18.10, 185.18.14, 180.60 and 180.37.05 (opengl3.1 beta).

    Does this mean they took a wrong turn in their development and had to take a step back to work from an older revision?

    FreeBSD and Solaris versions do exist, they just aren't listed in the nvnews post:

    He calls this driver 185.19.1~really185.18.14 since it's a lower version. He uses a false version so it can update. It's nice that I can have the latest nvidia driver without bricking my machine.
