Yes, it is. Well, it was. The old Xorg driver follows that model of choosing and installing.

Nvidia's new driver is generally open source so it can integrate into the kernel in the same way and play nicer with things like Wayland.

When I try to install 515 driver on the ubuntu with kernel 5.19, the installer said it does not support kernel 5.19, how can I fix this problem?
