      It'd be interesting to replicate these benchmarks (or at least some of them) on Windows, so we can compare the results between the OSes.

        Michael: Something I'd love to see is CUDA compiler versions over releases (nvcc). Ie performance improvement from the compiler set in the release.
        Something like fairly recent but somewhat simple CUDA kernel. Compile from different releases and run on a given GPU.
        Maybe also different shader model targets from different compilers.

        I don't think I've ever seen such a comparison anywhere...
