  • Where do I begin?

Somewhere between suspending and coming back after resuming, random bits of my graphics memory get corrupted. The large clock on gdm3 shows "<garbage>:05", various icons in my title bar are just garbage too. I don't even know where to begin.

I'm running PopOS based on Ubuntu 19 on a ThinkPad X1E, I'm currently using the onboard nvidia chip (GeForce GTX 1050 Ti), with version 430.34 of the drivers. I've run fwupdmgr and applied all the firmware versions (fwupdmgr get-updates says everything is current). I'm on 5.0.0-27-generic (uname -r).

For various reasons, I usually suspend the laptop by typing "sudo systemctl suspend", and resume it by hitting Fn.

I can tell by the lack of decent suspend time (4-5 hours max), that it's not _fully_ suspended like it should, but I don't know if that's related?

Where do I even begin to report this issue? Is it X related? Is it a kernel issue? NVidia drivers? ThinkPad BIOS issues? Where would you report it?
