For once i actually agree with you. At least in that they maintain the mess called gnome for money. I don't think it's stop the development of Linux though.

When comes to hardware? Maybe. However, Apple's hardware has usually more problems with Linux than hardware from other vendors. Furthermore, they're indirectly promoting macOS. It seems some of the Gnome developers aren't interested in making a competitive Linux desktop environment. Their past behavior toward Gnome 2 users and KDE is a proof.

Still the only linux desktop without any massive input lag though...
Seems like Gnome developers are the only ones using fast desktop environments such as the MacOS gui as a reference.

And there's activities which no other desktop environment has.

This seems like a salad of half-ideas. Perhaps the problem is you need to learn to write clearer English, but I suspect the problem is deeper

Hope (Toivo in Finnish, also a male name) is good to live said parasite.
          What does that mean?
The IBM-MS-Nvidia partnership will not be happy when usage of a Linux desktop improves.
Do you mean "if" rather than "when"?

IBM isn't of one mind as far as I can tell. Red Hat's behaviour hasn't visibly changed since it was acquired.

IBM's Power folks are tied in with Nvidia for their GPU computing option.

Red Hat doesn't even ship Nvidia (closed source) drivers with their OS products.

So who are you pointing at when you say "IBM" and what are you accusing them of?

Red Hat has been sponsoring a lot of Linux development, including Gnome. They certainly are not trying to make it fail.
11 years of gnome3 development and no end to see.
If software development ends, the product dies. Perhaps not immediately but inevitably. So if you want Gnome to live, you don't want to see the end of gnome3 development unless it is replaced by, say, gnome4 development.
99% of computer users would use a Linux desktop without gnome3 .
There are not 99% of linux users that use a linux desktop at all (more than 1% only use it as a server OS) so your invented statistic is obvious nonsense. What are you actually trying to say?
Gnome3 is a great tool to prevent more people use a Linux desktop.
On what possible basis do you make that claim? For one thing, Gnome is an option.
Gnome3 believers will not give up hope and it is very funny.
In what particular way do you think that this is irrational behaviour (i.e. to be laughed at)?
          11 years, think.
That's not a sentence. What are you trying to say?

Kwin-lowlatency pretty much solves the latency for plasma.

You are mad because you use ibm-illuminaty software. The XFCE desktop is the most fastesest, smooethest and most bestest desktop on all linux kernel. Install PADOKA MESA PPA and you can too have 30fps on a 15 year old game at 1366x768 resolution.

                will try
Still want to figure out KDE at some point lol
The blur using Kvantum themes is kinda nice. Really hoping KDE developers abandon or at least renew the breeze theme. Many programs look kinda dated or just overwhelming. Btw. Windows Explorer feels even worse than Dolphin to me.

Lol, honestly XFCE is smooth, but smoothness is pointless when there's a huge input lag which makes everything feel sluggish. Like using a 15 year old wireless Microsoft mouse...
