      Phoronix is about news in the Linux & BSD ecosystem regardless of the status of the source code. Nvidia offering professional quality tools to help develop software on Linux is news regardless of it being proprietary.

      Part of Phoronix is reporting performance tests about open source software, yes, but there's as many closed source proprietary games in the benchmarking list as there are open source games.
