    Phoronix: NVIDIA 410.57 Linux Beta Released With RTX 2080 Support, OptiX/Vulkan Ray-Tracing

    The Linux driver I've been using today for the just-posted GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Linux benchmarks is now publicly available. This NVIDIA 410 Linux driver is most exciting for Volta and Turing GPU owners, but there are also some EGL and Vulkan updates along with other changes...

        They should note "Happy 10th anniversary Wayland" in 10 days, maybe there will be mass pop-hysteria driven fiesta even crazier than what ubunteros do previosly

        Or should we wait for celebration until he become as young as young teenager?

          Wasn't there supposed to be automatic Wayland support with the Vulkan WSI extension for Wayland?

            On screen hud works better in tests than steam overlay and WINEDEBUG=-all

              In every god damn Nvidia driver thread there's always a muppet asking for this stupid Wayland thing. Take your Wayland and shove it up where the sun doesn't shine. Seriously getting tiring.

                  We made it a full page without the Linus middle finger image though.

                    Compton, and when gaming toast comptons pid. Compton is ancient but it just simply works for video. Of course I am using it for i3wm.

                    using it with xorg.conf settings

                    Option "TripleBuffer" "True"
                    Option "metamodes" "nvidia-auto-select +0+0 { ForceFullCompositionPipeline = On }"

                    that is if you are using NVidimuss.

                    ----

                    I had to add this, Jim Henson related.

                    Rygel hands Aeryn the navigation crystal and promises he washed it, he thinks.
