As others have said, it's looking suspiciously like Nvidia have moved their naming scheme up a row.

    2070 is new 1080 (Partial TU104)
    2080 is new 1080Ti (Full TU104)
2080Ti is new Titan (Partial TU102)

The only place to get a fully operational TU102 chip as used in the 2080Ti is in the Quadro 6000, which has 24GB of VRAM.
I foresee a "Titan Xt" with a fully loaded TU102 and only 12GB of VRAM, coming sometime in 2019.

Tip, put your hand over Metro, lets ignore that graph shall we? is that better?
I saw everything there, but i still don't see other cards from 20 serie. So i can't conclude if this one is most efficient.

You know how that goes, you test all cards from serie and how they scale. And there you can compare which one is potentionaly overpriced, which one is most efficient, so which card worth most for the buck, etc... Once when you thinking of things from that perspective, you wouldn't also say that this is the best card, you can say best performer but certainly one can't say how TOP TI FE is very efficient

So, I think we can well see why Nvidia opted to send a board (and why the chose to send the Ti).

Frames Per Second Per Watt on Metro: Last Light Redux was a little surprising. Could it be the first time they didn't eclipse their previous generation, in fps/W?

        fps/$ was a good laugh.

No, numbers. Especially on Vulkan front. Really makes me question purchase of Vega 64. Just to get 1070 level performance? Hopefully Navi will deliver or AMD multi-GPU reaches desktop segment. Fermi 570 were my last $ to reach Nvidia (1080Ti I got used) and for my second PC next year I'm definitely not going to buy anything that doesn't support AdaptiveSync anymore so Nvidia is not an option.

Hmm...so Vega64 still the best option for me. Check.

It is in line with Vega64, $1,200 vs $570... for that price you can buy two Vega64 plus some beers

Ignoring the price, that is some incredible performance. They are still a scumbag company though.

I wonder if Nvidia is taking shortcuts like Intel and serious flaws are soon to be discovered...

While I've only had hours so far to stress this card with the Linux drivers, as of writing I have yet to encounter any NVIDIA Linux driver issues.
That's not true, You definitely encounterd driver issues.... Horrible 2d performance of xrender, decades old multimonitor bugs, refusal to meet open source standards like GBM and hence no or bad wayland support, etc....

That's a lie, flat out. Linux doesn't have a native D3D driver, only OpenGL and Vulkan and both of which are outperforming the windows drivers by huge margins. Fact. And Gallium Nine as well as VKd3d are both equalling D3D.
