But it seems Broadwell and Skylake cannot fully support it though.

Congratulations to Intel, hopefully the other open source drivers will follow soon.

this means next release will be named mesa 12, right? because of opengl ES 3.1 ups a gl version

Pretty sure Mesa only increments version on non-ES openGL versions. However, only GL_ARB_robust_buffer_access_behavior and GL_ARB_internalformat_query2 remain from being submitted in a working state to clear 4.3, neither of which are particularly bad and could realistically happen before 11.2 thus making it 12.

Don't know about Skylake, but it seems that at least Broadwell can't advertise gl4.3

Weird considering the Windows drivers advertise OpenGL 4.4... I wonder what the difference is.

Any Turing-complete machine can advertise all OpenGL versions.

How the hell does Intel manage to DOWNGRADE hardware with a newer generation?

Let's see if Michael is going to make a news post about this; if it had been AMD, there would be no question about it...

Intel, you seriously screwed up here!
