Ok, I tried myself. This is really basic. As Michael said: it mostly adds a repository. If you re-run it, there is no option to revert to default packages.
Also of noting, it only installed a bunch of libva packages. No update to any other package (mesa, intel xorg driver, etc). So, the only tuning that this could potentially add to my kubuntu 11.10 nstallation (I am not using any ppa packages) is for video acceleration, which is always welcome, but already faster than I could ever need in this overclocked haswell. Oh well, I thought I'd share ...
