    Now it's your turn AMD. If you look at the Limited Beta Forum way more than 50% of the people having issues are using an AMD setup.

        y'know, AMD is what created x86-64, which was basically a merge of 2 architectures. If they can do the same thing with ARM there's a possibility we can be able to run x86, x86-64, and ARM binaries on the same system. While such a thing would be a dream come true for Microsoft, it even if it doesn't have awesome performance it'll still give intel something to think about. The strategy at a glance is absurd but if you really put thought into it, AMDs plan could screw up ARM-only manufacturers and be a huge threat to intel, especially considering intels recent plans to make mainstream and high end BGA CPUs.
