HP 2730p Graphic problem with many distributions
I own a 2730p, I bought some months ago from a show that was cleaning its warehouse of old models.
But till now i found no distro that worked the intel video chipset of this laptop correctly. Everything seems to work well for the laptop monitor but the external monitor has a "distorted" output.
I'm sure it is not a frequency issue, it like the output its stretched, and shows some random graphical glitches (sometimes menu are not fully displayed etc...)
I've already tryed (k)ubuntu 11.04 and 11.10 beta 2, and opensuse 11.4 (to the latest i also tried this alternate repository http://download.opensuse.org/reposit...openSUSE_11.4/
maybe it is correlated with this http://phoronix.com/forums/showthrea...ed-NONE-fixed-!
