Phoronix: Three New Intel Battlemage Device IDs Added To Open-Source Linux Driver

Probably just the "Pro" variants of the cards, some with more VRAM.

And I post this with every Battlemage article, but the B580 is still made of unobtainium. The only models you can even order are the bullshit ~$400 USD Chinese brand GUNNIR models.

Not true (If you are in the US), you can currently find an Asus B580 models at B&H for $280. Can't post links yet but check for Acer Intel Arc B580 Nitro OC Graphic Card, 6 days ago the Intel LE version was available for $260 on B&H as well. If you watch the IntelArc SubReddit you will be appraised of restocks with enough time to snag one at a more reasonable price.

I have also seen them available at microcenter if that is an option for your location. Its not widely available, agreed. Like anything in high demand, if you are persistent, you can find them near MSRP. Don't overpay, or if you can't wait, grab a used A750 for cheap.

An AIB model is available for £270 in stock now. It was in stock yesterday. I got an intel card a month ago with no issue.

I really hope it's the B700 series. I'm very interested in the potential of some higher end gaming cards from them. B500 has some impressive bang for buck.

I really want to get my hands on one of these cards, and I am hoping to pull the trigger on it later this year. They are one of the better $/performance bets out there if you dont need anything to high end and basically want entry level gaming along with a desktop.

I say these things are damn hard to actually buy. Then people tell me that's not true and point to a retailer where I can't buy one because they are sold out.
