With Linux 6.12 the Lunar Lake and Battlemage graphics are being enabled by default for out-of-the-box support with Intel's next-gen Xe2 graphics. Over in user-space the Intel OpenGL and Vulkan driver code has also begun enabling Xe2 graphics by default for use when running on Linux 6.12+. In Mesa besides no longer being hidden by the force probe option, a warning is now removed so users aren't told about unsupported Vulkan support when using Xe2 hardware...

The Intel fab fiasco continues. They just announced they are cancelling their 20A node and Arrow Lake tiles we be built elsewhere.

And Broadcom has been testing the next node (18A) that Intel is hyping and said it wasn't good enough for their needs.

It's going to continue getting worse for Intel before it gets better.

18A may not work for Broadcom AI accelerator, but I bet it would be a good fit for the Broadcom Electrofusion Furnace used in the Asus routers.

waiting for the benchmarks then ... I have seen a lot of hype from Intel over the 200v chips and the iGPUs ... so far it looks like their main advantage is LPDDR5 8533 while AMD is on 7500 so let's see ...

Removing a warning isn't simple. You have to first test the code thoroughly before you can remove the warning. Testing is work, a lot of work.
