Microsoft should have kept all these technologies locked up and exclusive to the Windows platform only, and not even made them available on WSL2 or open-sourced them.

it's not like the ungrateful Linux users will even have a shred of appreciation for what Microsoft is offering.

Your nice friend you should ask them to support firmware updates with linux bin bootable only and no need to support microsoft os fw update , see how friendly they are then.

Yeah, like the drug dealer giving you a special offer the first time once you hooked he will increase the price... that is generous.

Question: Do you think Win 10 is really for free or very cheap at least?

I have never seen MS saying "well its free but we collect all your data to finance our product?" or has there ever been the possibility to choose datacollecting-free 300$ or with datacollecting 10$ ?

Is this some bizarre attempt at satire? Do you understand the whole point of this driver is so that people can do all the Linux things they were already (capable of) doing, inside of Windows, instead? Nothing MS is doing with open source is an act of charity. It's all in their calculated self-interest.

Just out of sheer interest - how much has someone break down the own composition.
For instance if i would be 50% Asian, 25% Black, 25%Caucassian ? is there any CoC describing this?
