still no benchmarks with all mitigations (not just the default ones) turned on?

if you want a CPU that isn't broken, just get ARM Cortex-A55 and accept the slowness of not doing any speculative execution at all.

Nearly all instruction sets in use today were developed in the 80s/early 90s, and while the ISA does not mandate a µarch, it does constrain a little what you can do, security-wise. The real fix for those vulns would be developing a ISA + µarch addressing today's computing issues in mind. But that won't happen in our lifetime, if ever.

yes exactly... we really need to team up the community to produce hardware that is not broken by design.

can you show any product with only ARM Cortex-A55??? most products are big.little design

          for example this: https://geizhals.de/samsung-galaxy-t...70-v34160.html

          "Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ (SM8250-2-AB), 1x 3.09GHz (ARM Cortex-A77) + 3x 2.42GHz (ARM Cortex-A77) + 4x 1.8GHz (ARM Cortex-A55) "

i never see any product with only A55,.,, even if you buy Pinephone64 it has ARM Cortex A-53 what is affected by spectre...

sure you can "accept the slowness" of the ARM Cortex-A55 but if there is non product at all you can't buy it.
