    For months now Intel's open-source Linux driver stack has been preparing for VRR support with Gen11/Gen12 graphics. We've seen user-space patches by Intel around VRR while now they are finally sending out their key Linux kernel driver patches with the i915 DRM code...

    So, any hope of VRR happening with older GPU generations? Like, through everything supported by Iris?

      I hope HDMI will be supported or 24 inch 75 Hz monitors will also have DisplayPort

        Seems there won't be new major releaes any time soon/ever for xorg: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/xorg/...33#note_670522
        But maybe you're lucky and the MR will be merged for next Gnome version on Wayland. Otherwise you'd have to compile xorg yourself if you want it.
