Is there info (not rumors) about what are the extra 500 pins on LGA-1700 socket intended to be used for?

Alder Lake sounds great and promising, but it also sounds like something Intel should have had a decade ago already. By the time Intel got Alder Lake out, Apple will already have Apple A14 based ARM Macbooks out, and Geekbench shows the iPhone 12 at 3 GHz having higher IPC than Intel's latest and greatest 11th generation CPUs.

      Look at:

      Apple A14 Bionic @ 3.0 GHz 1588 3846
