    Finnaly! The actual existent vp9 encoder is a slow shit and single thread.

      Exactly. Up to 1080 lines VP9 is said to be more efficient than HEVC and for 4K it's nearly as efficient as HEVC without all the patent minefield. If we finally get an encoder with a usable performance then it will be a big step for the FOSS community.
