That's great, some devices have pretty low thermal limits, probably to limit the overall heating and case temperature of the device. If you are fine with slightly increased case temperature, it should be fine to adjust the TCC limit upwards.

E.g. some XPS 13 versions have the limit set to 80 °C, while the chip itself is spec'd to work up to 90 or 95 °C.
