Don't forget artists. We stopped using Ridges (and Islands come to think of it) although Embedded might still be using birds of prey.

As a general rule any time someone uses a name like that (whether it be Intel or AMD) they're talking about something you can't buy yet

Michael I was quoted here and I can't see the post as well as clicking on the link sends me to a page doesn't exist.

That "click on the link in my message box to a page that doesn't exist" seems to happen around half the time bridgman quotes me. Like, it only happens with him and people who have been shadow-banned.

That's my fault... I deleted the post (didn't have time to finish it properly). Maybe I can bring it back, hold on...

          EDIT - yep, that worked.

I suppose I gained this pet peeve when there were two different sets of S. Island cards and I had one of the two. I'd read articles and posts here and there about updates to S Island and I'd be like so which freaking one do you mean????

And we can't forget about stars....

If y'all don't have a Pleiades GPU designed for multi-GPU computational workloads we're gonna have a problem

LOL... I thought about it for Arcturus, but since the code name was for a single GPU we would have had to call it Pleiad.

Pleiades would be a great name for a chassis full of GPUs though... especially with some blue LEDs on the front.

EDIT - NASA already has a "Pleiades" supercomputer

That would have been a nice codename for the VII.
