      1,000x advancement in performance
      This will be interesting. You can get about an order of magnitude by going from CPU to GPU, for amenable problems.

      Then another one, by going from general-purpose GPU to specialized engines like tensor cores.

      I guess the final order of magnitude is to come from successive process improvements?

      Did they say over what timescale? I hope they mean within the same power envelope!
