AdamCetnerowski Cool, but is Beignet supporting everything the hardware can? For example, Ivybridge could support OpenCL 2.1 but you only get 2.0 from BeignetLast edited by andrei_me; 16 May 2019, 05:41 PM.

Beignet continues to be available - it just will not be developed by Intel. So for older platforms (prior to Broadwell), it's still the solution. For newer platforms (Broadwell+), we recommend using NEO.

Does Beignet support older hardware than NEO? If so, deprecating it wouldn't leave older Intel without OpenCL support?

Phoronix: Intel's Coffeelake OpenCL Performance Between Beignet & Their Modern NEO Driver
A few days back I posted a number of Intel OpenCL benchmarks between their former Beignet and new "NEO" Linux compute stacks that was done using a Skylake NUC for the Iris Pro 580 graphics. For those wondering how these two open-source Intel OpenCL implementations compare for the more common UHD Graphics 630, here are some benchmarks using an Intel Core i9 8700K "Coffeelake" processor...
