Hello, I hope this page forum is still active. So i have carrizo and hainan hardware in Asus X555QG laptop. I want to use opencl 1.2 to work with blender. With open driver, ocl-icd... use opencl 1.1 that blender doesn't support. I want to install amdgpu pro driver in ubuntu 16.04 or the derivatives (now i use linux mint 18.3 KDE, with oibaf driver). Could you help me how to fix this problem? I have wasted my time for searching about this.

In the previous answer "Carrizo is an APU and R5 M330 is PX older GCN Hainan... in case of Ubuntu, first should work with default install script and PX setups should be installed with "--px" install switch.

Just hope paupav installed PX correctly and didn't pushed default or something.", how to do this?
     Thank you so much

Are you sure you have a Hainan GPU ? My recollection was that Carrizo (GFX8/VI) was usually paired with Topaz (also GFX8/VI), not Hainan (GFX6/SI).

        Code:
03:00.0 Display controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Sun XT [Radeon HD 8670A/8670M/8690M / R5 M330] (rev 83)
        Hainan right?

          According to this:

          https://raw.githubusercontent.com/pc...master/pci.ids

          6660 Sun XT [Radeon HD 8670A/8670M/8690M / R5 M330 / M430 / R7 M520]
          that is 6600... further:

          https://cgit.freedesktop.org/xorg/dr...ati_pciids.csv

according to that 6600 could be oland or hainan

          further...

          https://www.asus.com/Laptops/X555QG/specifications/

So Bristol Ridge and Dual Graphics M435DX, not Oland but Hainan further...

          https://www.amd.com/en/technologies/...-dual-graphics

and here that DX4xx is not listed, beauty

edit: OK, my mistake 6600 is Oland but 6660 is hainan... these are devils for sure, seems like it is not Topaz indeed, but who knows probably only Red Devil knows

            After doing some research...

            Specification of my laptop is:
            Asus X555QG
            AMD A12-9700P APU with AMD Radeon™ R8 M435DX Graphics

The banner said that my laptop has dual graphic card etc etc

            So, why is lspci detect my graphic card as Sun XT [Radeon HD 8670A/8670M/8690M / R5 M330 / M430 / R7 M520]?

Thank you, sorry for slow responds

I expect the PCI database just needs to be updated to add the new variants (like M435DX) of the same chip. Not sure about exactly how that is done though.

Hmm... I thought that this card was rebranded from the older card...
