  • OpenCL 2.0 on Hawaii on Linux?

I'm using the Radeon R9 290X under Ubuntu 16.04. I'm quite happy with being able to use OpenCL 1.2 using the AMDGPUPRO driver. Nervertheless my question is, if anyone found a way to use this card with OpenCL2.0? I found the ROCK driver at https://github.com/RadeonOpenCompute...er/tree/master but am unsure of its capabilities.

Just OpenCL 1.2 at the moment. Going all the way to 2.0 would have meant duplicating a lot of the ROCM functionality in the amdgpu gfx driver.

Next step will be merging the ROCM and amdgpu stacks and running OpenCL over ROCM, and then we'll start turning on more features in OpenCL.
