6820 should be GCN 1.0 and not supported.

              When you google: R9 M375

At the second page and second link is this:
              https://www.techpowerup.com/gpudb/2690/radeon-r9-m375

Page says it is GCN 1.0 and not supported by the amdgpu-pro driver. Also you can check the amdgpu_drv.c file from the Linux kernel sources to check if PCI ID matches your GPU. Amdgpu-pro dkms driver is amdgpu kernel driver with dal combined, so you get an idea of support from the Linux kernel sources.

Wikipedia also has AMD's mobile GPUs: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...F9_M300_Series
Most of the M3xx series is GCN 1.0.

It will have amdgpu support though and I don't think it will be long, as there is already halfway working experimental code, see https://www.phoronix.com/forums/foru...228#post887228

I have the same problem. I tried installing http://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-arti...ase-Notes.aspx but get blank screen. I am using Ubuntu 16.04 with kernel 4.8.0-41-generic #44~16.04.1-Ubuntu.

See AMD, your Linux driver documentation sucks. To make a computer to work with AMD GCN 1.0+ graphics, see how to use the open source driver:
