Boost and XFR on Ryzen 7 1700

  • Boost and XFR on Ryzen 7 1700

    Got my new Ryzen 1700 on a Gigabyte AB350M-D3H with 32GB of memory I overpaid for. I want to verify Boost and XFR are working. I'm running 4.11.0-14 from Ubuntu repositories. Do XFR or Boost raise the voltage? If so, what is that voltage? My motherboard has Vcore at 1.1, and wants to jump to 1.2 anytime I set frequency above 3Ghz. I've been looking for this information and haven't be able to find it. Also haven't had much luck getting a GTX 1050 working yet, though I haven't spent much time on it. Thanks for any help.
