I want to share something with you. I recently upgraded my system to a Ryzen AM4 setup by replacing the motherboard with an Asrock x370, the RAM from DDR3 to DDR4 2400 and a Ryzen 1600 CPU. I did a Heaven benchmark before and after to see the improvement.
The result:
As you can see, no real difference. Probably due to the benchmark putting most of the load on the GPU and not the CPU.
You probably noticed the kernel version difference, but I doubt that that upgrade would have much negative influence on the Ryzen benchmark.
