Thanks for the tests. I wonder why intel are not releasing chips with GPU "execution units" > 48. I really would not mind getting a GT4e class GPU in a modern laptop... Sigh, I guess I'll have to wait for ryzen mobile APUs.
No kidding. Apart from a handful of tests which clearly benefit from the extra threads, all of the i5 models (even the 6500) are quite competitive with the i7 7700K, and the 6600K beats the newer 7600K in several cases. In terms of bang-for-buck, it's no contest...
