    debrouxl, as it turns out it's an ASUS K8N, which apparently has an nForce 3, not VIA :/

    Seems to boot, but unfortunately it seems my only AGP GPU is dead, so no display.

    Still, 3 memory slots on a single-channel platform is quite wacky for today's standards. If you're interested I can send you the board/CPU/RAM, I have no use for it.

      If you have no use for that computer, let's go... all the more I have Socket A/462, Socket 939 and Socket AM2 (940) platforms, but I don't think I have any Socket 754 platform for old Athlon 64 in my collection. I'll contact you privately.
