Phoronix: AMD Advances Confidential Computing In Linux 6.11 With SEV-SNP + SVSM Guest Support

The AMD Secure Encrypted Virtualization (SEV) changes have been submitted for the recently opened Linux 6.11 merge window. Notable this cycle is getting support in the mainline kernel for SEV-SNP guest support over a Secure VM Service Module (SVSM)...

Honestly? Why do you keep spamming and posting conspiracies?

Proof that this site is controlled by the CIA (spy agency of USA): (link)
The more likely explanation is that Michael doesn't like your strange "known CIA agents" thread. Actually that explanation was your own number one here:

That's exactly what a CIA agent would do.
Yes, and it would also be something that someone who is annoyed by conspiracy theories would do.

Maybe the mods are annoyed by conspiracy theories as well AND such a thing being in such a prominent place is a problem.

Your conspiracy theories are also tolerated, if they are nested within some thread.

Oh my goodness drastic, Michael is a hard working, intelligent, family man who single handedly created Phoronix and brings the Linux community an endless and varied stream of articles on everything from hardware to software, both current and upcoming.

So rather than defaming him without cause you should be thanking him for his hard work, and allowing even someone like you to post on his forums.

It is a prominent place within the forum, not on Phoronix. But I didn't claim this was the reason for removing your thread. I just said it was a possible reason, for all we know.

You're suggesting that moderators might be ignoring evidence or censuring your views due to some hidden agenda. However, without concrete evidence, this remains speculative and unconvincing. Thus, this proves nothing.

Some birds cannot fly. That doesn't mean that all birds cannot fly. The burden of proof lies with those making the claims to provide credible evidence. Without empirical evidence, a theory remains speculative and can cause harm by spreading misinformation.

However, absence of hard evidence does not make a theory true or compelling enough to warrant special attention. In the realm of online forums, especially when it comes to sensitive topics like government agencies, it's crucial to separate speculation from fact-based discussions.

Your claim about the site being controlled by the CIA remains unsubstantiated and based on speculation. Why are we even discussing this?

          That is immediately suspicious.
They don't have to. Other news sites also delete threads without posting a reason. Furthermore, you have no knowledge how many threads a deleted per day.

Notice that my first post in this thread has already been CENSORED.
You can read the remaining segments in the CIA agent oleid 's reply (post no. #2 now).

That is already a lot of evidence that Michael Larabel is cooperating with the CIA.

I'm just warning unsuspecting readers that they should't trust this website much.
Am I allowed to do that, or is this warning also going to get deleted and censored, just like my first warning in this thread?
            Wow.

I have no idea why on Earth you're casting these completely unfounded aspersions drastic, but it's up to Michael to decide if he wants to allow them. This is Michael's forum and he can allow or disallow anything he wants.

I can only say that if I were him I would allow a few posts so you're not completely censored, but after you've posted your initial accusations and links to what you suppose are "proofs" I would block your posts because they have nothing to do with the articles your posting under.

But Michael is not required to allow unfounded, or even founded, accusations or insults against him or anyone else on his forums. What appears is entirely within his discretion.

It seems DRASTIC has finally uncovered the truth behind the sinister forces controlling our forum discussions. In a stunning turn of events, it has been revealed that I, Oliver Leid, am an undercover agent working for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). My mission? To ensure that no one questions the integrity of a particular news site and its alleged ties to the CIA.

DRASTIC's keen eye for detail and unwavering commitment to truth have led him to this groundbreaking discovery. As it turns out, my arguments against his claims were not mere attempts at reason but part of a complex operation designed to deceive and mislead. Who would have thought that a simple forum user could be so cunning?

In this elaborate scheme, I was tasked with promoting the use of "CIA-approved" software and hardware, ensuring that unsuspecting users are unwittingly drawn into our web of surveillance. The GPU-based rendering of GUIs, once hailed as a technological advancement, is now exposed for its true purpose: to hack into your system remotely, monitoring every move you make on the internet.

But it doesn't stop there. My superiors instructed me to suppress information about security issues, keeping the masses in the dark while our agents exploit these vulnerabilities to gather intel. The company "Intel" — a name so cleverly ironic that even I couldn't help but chuckle when I first heard it — exists solely to provide us with the intel we need to maintain control.

As DRASTIC bravely points out, my responses were not just innocuous counterarguments; they were calculated efforts to discredit him and his theories. Each statement was a carefully crafted piece of misinformation, designed to keep the truth hidden from prying eyes. My mission was to make sure that no one suspected our true intentions.

DRASTIC's tireless efforts have finally exposed my cover. I must admit, it's been quite a journey, but now that the cat is out of the bag, I must return to headquarters for debriefing and new assignments. Thank you, DRASTIC, for your vigilance and for being the only one who saw through my disguise.

In conclusion, if anyone needs help with installing GPU-accelerated GUI rendering software or has questions about Intel's latest security updates, please feel free to reach out. I'll be available until further notice from the CIA command center.

EDIT: My mission now includes spreading misinformation about "secure" browsers and encouraging users to switch to more "reliable" alternatives that allow for easier monitoring. Stay vigilant, and remember: in the shadows of the internet, nothing is as it seems.

                Ha!

Really, that was very well written and funny oleid .

However I must say I would prefer not to make sport of even the most inviting adversary, though this is indeed a bizarre situation.

I sincerely feel for drastic, as it appears the poster truly believes what they're saying.

In any case I hope this will be my last post concerning it.

I can only say this to drastic - I sincerely hope you will consider that you are wrong, just as you ask for the consideration of others.

Oh, and here you go again, badmouthing me. That's the second time. Why are you doing this?

And no, there was no unfair argument. Just that you didn't like what I said.

It doesn't matter how many times you say "false" to them.
Just because you write 'wrong' without further argument doesn't make something wrong. The word does not stand alone. Besides, if you remember, I have admitted it when I was wrong. For example, about the speed of PCIe3.
Unlike you, I can admit my mistakes.
