    With yesterday's release of Blender 3.3 much of the excitement has been about the new Intel oneAPI back-end for Arc Graphics acceleration and also improvements to AMD's HIP back-end for supporting GPUs back to Vega. However, even if you are using CPU-based rendering, Blender 3.3 LTS is looking like a nice upgrade for better performance...

    Michael can you include the polaris patches if you benchmark the gpus ?

      Does the aforementioned HIP improvements which extend back to Vega apply to Windows version of Blender too?
      I have V56, and would be nice to start getting more familiar with Blender and being able to use the renderer using V56.

        in the last releases windows was always ahead of linux ... this means the answer is yes.
