Phoronix: Linux 5.17 Is Bringing Big Improvements For AMD Hardware

You forget to mention that AMD rebranded MediaTek MT7921K Wi-Fi 6E chips (RZ608 and RZ616) finally being supported in mainline kernel.
An entry-level AMD employee was very humiliating in front of customers because this Wi-Fi adapter doesn't have a Linux driver.

Stop teasing me (AMD user) with 5.17 while I'm still waiting for 5.16 (which also has AMD improvements).

5.16 is already released as stable with 5.16.2 out currently.

Some months ago I got an Asus laptop with a 5700U CPU. Is anyone else having suspend issues with this CPU? I'm running an up-to-date Arch Linux installation.

Already compiled and installed my custom version of 5.17-rc1 for T14 Gen 2 AMD 4K edition. Everything is great!

5.17-rc1 just fail to work on my AMD PC. I just use almost the same config worked for 5.16.
              Any idea? Thanks.

I have a Desktop Ryzen 5 5600G, and every other wakeup after suspend, my computer hangs. Linux 5.16. Other than the suspend issue, my system is stable

Yes, upstream, but not in Void Linux (which I'm using). That's why said “while I'm still waiting for 5.16”.

I wonder if it is GPU related. I have a Ryzen 5900x, and I can’t recall any issues with suspend.
