    Nah, I have my 7 year old system from 2013, and I don't feel that it is legacy. Not much has changed, at least not in the x86 space.

        I want to know how in the heck they were able to get JPEG/MJPEG @ 1080p60 encoding on a board that's using a SINGLE CORE running 1.0 GHz.

        The media decoding on this thing makes it a perfect candidate for a streaming/media TV box.

          That's not running on the RISC-V core, but on the VPU which is a part of the SoC. Support for which was crowd-funded.

                My brother has a RTX 3060. I'm convinced that thing can upscale something mediocre into 1440p easily. Even on an older cpu (though in his case he does use a current cpu).
