Been there done that and agree completely. The absolute worst are the blade servers. A rack full of 1U servers is a close 2nd. Cozy to stand behind though if you get a chill!

A fan with 7 blades spinning at 8,000rpm-11,000rpm means you will possibly hear a tone of 933Hz-1283Hz among all the noise.

Anything spinning at 8000 rpm should make a lot of noise.

That‘s not true. Noise comes from friction and turbulence, therefore fast spinning objects with little friction and turbulence can be pretty quiet.
