    Not true. AMD has provided significant speedups for the same price. Intel hasn't. It's pretty obvious if you look at the released products and stock between 2017-2020, or who had to go through some major leadership reorganization just few days ago.

      If you can find a Ryzen 1200 AF or 1600 AF part for MSRP, it will blow out the value scale. The 1600 AF can lead the 3300X in performance in a few cases. Availability and pricing are reported to have wild swings based on where on the planet you are, but it might be worth having a look.

        To be fair, it's not all that bad for 2c/2t|4t CPUs, but segmentation in instructuin sets etc., and price... (not counting platform price). Those CPUs will be very usable for at least few years from now if not much more.
