    Then another vulnerability comes in, and they don't lower the prices for their garbage products, nor fix older vulnerabilities in their hardware... They just bump the clockrate ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
    Intel did lower the prices for HEDT, but only because 1) nobody buys it; 2) Threadripper was skinning them alive in every benchmark while being cheaper.

    For the DIY market there's the MUH 5 FPS gamers, for OEMs there's MUH BRIBES and for laypeople there's MUH BRAND LOYALTY. So, sadly, Intel isn't going anywhere, though it remains to be seen if they'll manage to outshine AMD in 2021 with real products and not just clock bumps.
