Phoronix: Patches Revised For AMD Zen Based Hygon Dhyana Server CPUs

I wonder why a Chinese company bought a license to sell re-branded AMD Epyc server CPUs under their own brand name.
Or is there any difference between a AMD Epyc and a Hygon Dhyana CPU?
If so, then what is that difference?

    Are these CPUs backdoored?
Are normal AMD Epyc from AMD sold in China, or only this Hygon Dhyana variant?

You asked the same question in the older thread and got enough answers already https://www.phoronix.com/forums/foru...sed-on-amd-zen

Would love to get some AMD Zen stability patches for kernels > 4.14 series. Googling for "Ryzen crash Linux" will help out any skeptics.

I'm getting mostly articles about crashes fixable by a kernel update, could you be more specific?
