Nice, it could make a nice little Linux machine. I personally love how well my Chromebook runs with Fedora.
Granted, the older releases and kernels were a little dodgy, Fedora 23 fixed most the issues I had.

So this is the first skylake device supported by coreboot then?

When a chromebook with skylake, proper coreboot support, 4gb ram, 11-13" 1080p screen for a decent price is available i will buy it instantly.

Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure the high end models of this chromebox is only Broadwell (5th gen).

I'm not sure if there's a skylake chromebook/box with proper coreboot support at the moment. The only one i know about is the HP Chromebox 13, which I believe only has unofficial coreboot support.
