      That workstation looks beautiful, why didn't I know about these? Customising the firmware would be the icing on the cake.

        Maybe because the new price used to be very high ? Exactly because it's 'workstation' hardware.

        I had actually looked at buying such a machine when it was new, partly because supposedly they are also pretty quiet machines.
