    Note that the Ubuntu pmtools package is a package of Perl module tools and not related to power management like Fedora's pmtools. You have to install acpidump on Ubuntu-based distros.

    I don't think the results are completely accurate. I don't see any MTRR errors when i use my laptop, and suspend/resume work just fine.
    (Tested with kernel 3.0.0 on sabayon linux 7.0 w/ catalyst 11.9 )
