    While it's difficult still finding Intel Xeon 6 "Granite Rapids" motherboards/servers widely available at Internet retailers/distributors, when it comes to the AMD EPYC 9005 "Turin" processors that launched just last month, there is better availability thanks in large part to leveraging the existing SP5 socket. For those wanting to assemble a single socket AMD EPYC 9005 series server, one of the readily available options in the retail channel is the Supermicro H13SSL-N motherboard.

      Just as I happened to have these DIMMS laying around... And they have worked fine with this board.

        Hello Michael,

        Any opinion about ASRock Rack GENOAD8X-2T/BCM?
        It's the only I could find to leverage/expose 7x PCIe 5.0 x16.

          I don't have it / never tested it, but one downside of the GENOAD8X-2T/BCM is only 8 memory channels...

                I'm new to EPYC motherboards but understand that 1P configuration can support up to 128 pcie gen 5 lanes. But with this board I only see 3x16 at gen5, 2x8 at gen5, 2x4 m.2 at gen4 (so total x4 gen5), and 3 MCIO (PCIe 5.0 x8), so 92 gen5 lanes. I know some pcie lanes are used for other other things like 10gbe lan ports on the -nt model, but does this mean that a bit less than 128-92=36 pcie lanes are left unusable, mainly because this is a cheaper, less capable board? Or are they all used?

                I'm curious if there exists something that provides all 128 pcie gen5 lanes with 12 memory channels, and if there are advantages to going with this board anyway (e.g. would those boards be way more expensive, proprietary form-factor only or hard to DIY buy/build, etc).
