A bit pretentious for my tastes, not a company I would be inclined to do business with in the first place.
Sad it ended up this way.
Ha, I'm glad I'm not the only one. I thought initially it was a scambaiter site similar to the "Anus Laptop" site of 2005...

They haven't banned anything. It is a suggestion to stay away or you might get banned. This incompetent idiot doesn't even know how to block devices with certain IP addresses or user agent strings, lol, and he's supposed to be manufacturing laptops.

    ROFLMAO!

Yes oreboot is like 80% to a generic EFI firmware other than the fact it does not boot any other OS other than Linux of course. It is quite a good example of how bad 80% done firmware is. 80% done equals some very extreme limitations.
both I was aware of oreboot

If MALIBAL was unable to find a single vendor to fulfill their needs, it may be worth considering if the challenges lie elsewhere.

If more consumers did that (vote with feet / wallet / appropriately scathing feedback) we might have more companies that don't suck at UX / QC / ...

It was obvious from a few sentences into MALIBAL's screed that they were absolute bozos who had no business running any company.
