CPU will not boot

I have just finished putting my new computer togeather and I turn it on...lights come on...but no video.

I have:
Asus Crosshair Formula II
AMD Phenom II
8gb of OCZ Ram

I have no video card and I am using the on board video.

I think it is my motherboard not reading everything and that it needs a new bios. I have no idea how to get one on there when i cant see anything. Any help is much appreciated.

You have to find an older AM2 processor (such as a x2 or a single core) and then flash the board. This is where friends can be really handy.
