    I'd help out about SATA drives, but I don't have a Twitter account (and I'm not going to open one).

        What if fwupd could update the firmware on your Android phone too?

        Code:
        $ cat /sys/class/block/sd*/device/model
        Samsung SSD 840
        SAMSUNG HD501LJ
        INTEL SSDSA2M080

          You are not the only one. Not a fan of twitter at all, it is almost as bad as telling someone to sign up with Facebook for support.

            Not sure if mSATA counts...
            $ cat /sys/class/block/sd*/device/model
            SAMSUNG MZNLN512

              I have no twitter and no reddit...
              so maybe he visits this decent linux nerds hideaway

              Code:
              cat /sys/class/block/sd*/device/model
              WDC WD20EFRX-68E
              WDC WD20EFRX-68E
              INTEL SSDSCKGF18
              Btw nvme also counted?

              Code:
              cat /sys/class/block/nvme*/device/model
              SSDPEMKF256G8 NVMe INTEL 256GB
              and fwupd output
