Not sure if trolling or serious.

On the other hand, there goes another project into the shoddy politics foundation.

LVFS is yet another RedHat move to shove random blobs down users' throats, we've already seen that movie, systemd, do you remember?
Thanks Devuan we still have a choice, I hope they will ship a LVFS-free distro too.

            And yes, I'm seriously trolling.

How is systemd a blob? (The word is an acronym for "Binary Large OBject" and I don't remember systemd being closed-source.)

It is not, but RedHat is shoving stuff down our throats regardless. And remember: that's a serious joke.

The same way systemd is monoilithic and is violating Unix phylosophy, I guess. (you know, what do people say of systemd and isn't even remotely plausible but still they believe in it)
