Phoronix: Heterogeneous Memory Management Steps Up To Version 22

Heterogeneous Memory Management sadly didn't make it for Linux 4.12 as developer Jerome Glisse was aiming for, but now he's out with an updated version to these important HMM patches...

Phoronix, Linux Hardware Reviews, Linux hardware benchmarks, Linux server benchmarks, Linux benchmarking, Desktop Linux, Linux performance, Open Source graphics, Linux How To, Ubuntu benchmarks, Ubuntu hardware, Phoronix Test Suite

It's kinda bothering that Jérôme Glisse has been a lone voice in trying to get this at least reviewed, let alone accepted upstream. His HMM implementation is great, important, and well-thought; I wish there were more reviewers/mantainers interested in pushing this forward.

Among the benefits, I suspect it would help a lot in getting AMD's ROCm to finally support OpenCL 2.0 runtime (in addition to expanding the whole ROCm support).

Linux really needs this. It should get more support from valve and amd.
