AMDGPU-PRO 17.10 vs. Linux 4.12 + Mesa 17.2-dev Git
right now we have a duopoly (Nvidia+AMD) and all other smaller market actors have no resources to play in this dirty game of: Broken software by design fixed by closed source drivers.
so we already do have the evil monopoly(Duopoly(Nvidia+AMD) ) and i call amd to stop this bad behavior.
because it hurt smaller competitors.
I think its unavoidable. You need massive funds to design these properly.
