I don't think it is that interesting to test a low profile card when only the binary vendor drivers are available.
I personally only care about a test and therefore a comparison between cards when the conditions are equal for the contestants.
Free drivers with released firmware

MSI's GT 1030 cards are the only ones with DisplayPort 1.4 port, so it's more futureproof and can output 4K 60-120Hz & 5K 60Hz off a single DP1.4 cable.
EVGA usually would be more forward looking but no DisplayPort 1.4 port on any of their cards.

I wish, that AMD would have released a low profile card with at least two digital outputs. Currently there's only:- SAPPHIRE R5 230 1G D3 Eyefinity http://www.sapphiretech.com/productd...DDA56&lang=eng, which is few generations old.
- AMD Radeon RX 550 2GB Low Profile http://www.xfxforce.com/en-us/produc...p-rx-550p2lfg5, which is practically unavailable in europe. The card is actively cooled, but it's not a blower fan. Blower fan would have been much better for airflow in SFF cases.

This GT 1030 is vs RX 550 i think... but only interesting one to me as it is 30W so it can be low profile but passive too like this, that is something i didn't saw for AMD models
